I Wasn’t Born so Much as I Fell Out
I’m all lost in the supermarket
I can no longer shop happily
I came in here for that special offer
A guaranteed personality
In a CLASH mood: hence the lyrics and title. The title is my favorite line from “Lost in the Supermarket.” It doesn’t really encapsulate my feelings, but it does lead to thoughts.
As Thanksgiving nears, I’m getting eager to go home. My new house is going to be up and I’m going to have a real room–not the hallway that I had before. Can’t wait to go home, refresh, and buy some new furniture. Should I get a twin or a king bed? No in-betweens, of course. If I get a twin bed, I can set up drums and other music equipment.
I’m also feeling burnt-out. The semesters been going by fast and it looked as though I would be able to avoid a deep depression but I suspect there’s one coming soon. I’m swamped with so much class this year that I’m starting to feel that my life is boring. I haven’t done anything out of my comfort zone recently, that’s for sure. I slept ALL DAY today, minus breakfast and an afternoon shower. I’m in desperate need of some excitement…
