Un-unmotivating
I feel like I’m drifting lately; moving sideways. I guess its a combination of an un-fulfilling education and work. Anyway, I decided to do a google search for motivational quotes. Hopefully, they can help you too. Here are some of my favorites:
Because my sight is ocean oriented…
“The person who gets the farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare. The sure-thing boat never gets far from shore.”
Dale Carnegie
“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” - Andre Gide
This one made me laugh:
“The best motivating is self-motivating. The guy says, “I wish someone would come by and turn me on. “What if they don’t show up? You’ve got to have a better plan for your life.”
-Jim Rohn
This one is kinda bad:
“In life, don’t expect anything from anyone. Because expectation, when not fulfilled, gives you pain. When you get something without expecting it, it gives you pleasure. Keep doing your part and leave the rest to God.”

(Oh, BTW I probabilistically believe in God. More on that later…)
To end, an uplifting alternative to a stressful life, with good pay! I hear the job security is great too.
“In Nebraska, the trucking industry employs one out of every 11 workers in the state. Wages are 36 percent higher than the state’s average for the private industry. Depending on where you gain experience, entry-level truck drivers can earn about $30,000 per year, Harris says. Experienced drivers can earn more than $65,000 per year. Ten years ago, Gaffin was making $40,000. Today, he and most of his colleagues at New Century are making up to $85,000 per year. According to Gaffin, there are husband-and-wife tandems in the industry who earn more than $100,000 per year, because they can log more miles and take shifts driving.”
Wouldn’t that be cool? Your wife is always sleeping when you’re awake AND she does the job for you when you’re asleep!
