Catch-Up Game (of Death)
Busy, busy, busy. Never found myself saying that so much as the past month. And more things just pile on. It’s a jenga game…So the only way I am motivating myself is by turning my studies into a game: Catch-Up Game (of Death). On my white board, is a race to the middle line. Milad has been nice enough to join in on my game which is good; I have someone to stomp on.
Been meaning to post for a while. Had lots going on and consquently, lots to say. Forgot all of that now.
Anyway, going to a Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! concert in SF tonight. Fun, huh? Too bad I got no one who wants to go. Now I have to sell it on Craig’s list and go by myself. Makes you feel pathetic, but I’m not all that sad…I mean, it’s good to be independent right? The only annoying thing is that I couldn’t get the date with the gal I wanted.
Set design is slowly underway and I’m being less passionate about it each day. Mathematically related? You bet. Could use more help…
So I missed my interview for the Volunteer in Asia: Vietnam program. Oh how that does suck…but the plans change… Instead, I’m thinking about doing their China program. It’s a 4-week program where they send you to China and you take an introductory course about traditional Chinese medicine. Weird huh? Honestly, I just want to get out of the country and I’m short on opportunities at this point. Damn I need to plan better… Anyway, it doesn’t sound all that bad. I imagine I can get it if I lie and say Bioengineering is my focus. If it does work out, I think I’ll have a good time. Also thinking that I can go stay in Vietnam before or after. Kathy told me that English tutors are very well paid and highly sought. So why not see if I can sell myself eh? Plus, Genie should be there which would be fun. Hmm…heres an idea: stay with Genie and do some tutoring. Overall, cross two countries off my list–China and Vietnam–and extend my getaway to two months.
